Patient Testimonials

  • I am 70 yrs old nurse with osteoarthritis. My dominant arm was very restricted and less than 60% ROM, constant pain and Rotator Cuff in shreds. Now 12 weeks out from right reverse shoulder replacement and reconstruction done by Dr. Herring. I chose him based on research and patient recommendation. Additionally his choice of hospital, their staff, pre and post operative patient education also affected my decision. I was not disappointed! The first week post-op was rough but by the end of the second week discomfort was managed with simple “Tylenol” and the occasional ice pack. Based on Dr.Herring’s professional diagnostic and surgical EXPERIENCE, patient outcomes and PT program, I will be returning in the future for needed shoulder replacement on the left.

  • I am a physical therapist and can honestly say my experience with Dr. Herring thus far has been exceptional. He took time to carefully listen to me, taking care to give weight to my lifestyle and goals for recovery. His examination was thorough and he assessed joints above and below my injured elbow to get a clear picture of what was going on. He reviewed all imaging with me and explained what each finding meant for me and my recovery. He provided various options for my plan of care, and he answered all of my questions to help me select the best course of action. I'd recommend anyone see him, especially if you are highly active and are looking for a provider who doesn't tell you to "just do less". I felt like an individual patient.

  • The Shrader road location is really top class. Everyone is amazing and has treated me with so much care and compassion over my whole process. From the injury to physical therapy to surgery and now recovery, I’ve been using the Shrader road location for everything and I’m just truly super impressed and happy that this is where I ended up going. Having a first time ACL/meniscus injury, the whole process has just been made so easy by them and I’m grateful. Dr. Herring is awesome, incredibly knowledgeable and I can tell he really cares about getting me fixed up and that he doesn’t see me as just another patient. I really would recommend this location to anyone who is going through any sort of orthopedic injury and is searching for a top of the line facility.
